About Our Trust

Jim Adams

Chief Executive Officer

Jim has successfully worked in education for 27 years, 18 of those in senior leadership.  He began his career in a large secondary school in North London where he eventually became Head of Sixth Form.  He has experience of working in schools and Trusts in a variety of contexts, rural and urban, from early years to post 16.

His first position as Headteacher was with Litcham School in 2012.  Following that, Jim was appointed as Headteacher of Hobart High School in South Norfolk in 2015.

Hobart became the sponsor academy for Clarion Academy Trust (CAT) in 2016, with Jim becoming the founding CEO.  CAT merged with Corvus Education Trust in 2023 to become Clarion Corvus Trust.

He is currently CEO of Clarion Corvus Trust, a family of five primary and two secondary schools.  Jim is also Vice Chair of ‘Educate Norfolk’, the professional association for Norfolk Headteachers.
